Now, David is running for the state House to help bring the 150th district a fresh start.

Featured Candidate: Dave Kessler, House District 130

September 05, 2014 | By Krystal Bonner

Former 130th district representative Dave Kessler has unfinished business. Over the past three years, he's watched his district suffer from Governor Corbett and Harrisburg Republicans' misguided policies that pinch local communities and benefit wealthy corporations. Now, he's running to reclaim his Berks County seat to help rebuild a strong Pennsylvania middle class, strong schools, and a strong workforce.

A long-time district resident, Dave was elected to the state House in 2007 and served until 2011. Before serving as representative, he spent 18 years as an Oley Township supervisor and 15 years as a member of the township's planning commission. With his deep roots in the district, Dave never stopped talking with constituents about their concerns about the future of Pennsylvania even after leaving office. And in recent months, district residents have become increasingly worried about rising property taxes.
